 The Enterprise Architect provides all the necessary technical expertise to architect and design cyber security enterprise solutions into a Federal Agency’s overarching enterprise. This position ensures effective execution of all architecture tasks with the agency assigned projects. The position is also responsible for providing thought leadership for our clients while providing technical oversight for solution deployment engagements. The position performs a critical role in understanding DHS strategic and programmatic needs, proposing effective solutions, and consistently providing high-level customer service. The position will interface regularly with Project Control, Customer Success and Agency Advocacy Managers, and PMO Manager, as well as our Strategy, Transition and Operations teams to assist in resolving issues, improving processes, and increasing productivity. Enterprise Architects are assigned to 1 or more Federal agencies as required.

 

Minimum of 15 years of enterprise architecting & engineering experience with DHS and DoD clients.

Experience implementing technical solutions in complex and heterogeneous environments, including the following: 

Experience developing, configuring, and delivering COTS solutions in support of enterprise security solutions. 

Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning

Experience leading integration planning activities of multiple U.S. Government Agencies  or

Experience leading multi-organizational and matrixed technical resources and teams in accordance with approved integration plans and TO terms and conditions. 

A minimum of 10 years of experience deploying technical solutions into enterprises.

A minimum of 8 years of IT security operational experience, including assessment of information assurance and interoperability. 

Minimum of 6 years of experience working with Security Authorization requirements, developing and enhancing the security risk posture, and analysis and reporting of IT security metrics.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in security policy and emerging cybersecurity technologies.

Demonstrated expertise in security policy and implementation.

Experience collaborating with Agencies to mature operational processes, reduce redundancies, and develop innovative solutions

Experience understanding organizational needs, proposing solutions, and managing project execution efforts designed to deliver overall program benefits for Government Agencies.

Experience collaborating with US Government Agencies, state or local governments, or commercial entities to develop IT service program maturity in accordance with Federal IT mandates and best practices  Strong experience in ensuring customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and risk management on several medium to large projects.

Technical leadership in Enterprise Architecture (EA), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and IT Service Delivery to multiple U.S. Government Agencies.

Experience in NIST RMF or CDM Framework.

Experience in conducting assessments at an Enterprise by reviewing technical documentations, conducting interviews and workshops to identify gaps and developing a tailored solution is highly desired 

Demonstrated experience in security solution design using existing and emerging technologies to achieve enterprise solutions.

General scripting experience.

Must be a US citizen.

Bachelor’s degree in technical field.

Able to obtain DHS Public Trust/ Suitability. Able to obtain possess a TS security clearance and be SCI eligible.

 

 

 

 

Support of cyber security systems integration efforts on large task orders supporting multiple government agencies. Install, configure, and support COTS cyber security solutions within complex government agency operational and security environments. Support data and software integration efforts across multiple sensor, database, and analytic platforms. Coordinate with both ManTech and subcontractor resources spanning a range of disciplines from systems engineering and IT operations to testing and quality assurance. Act as the primary point of contact for support and integration-related issues relating to the flow of data into, within, and out of the CDM solution for multiple agencies. Identify areas for improvement and optimization within existing data interfaces and transport mechanisms as part of continuous improvement initiatives. Supports quality reviews for acceptance of new solutions into operations. Work with engineering team to generate root cause analyses, update tickets, and resolve problems and incidents. Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Support and observe software testing activities. Follows documented methods and practices to deliver effective, efficient and professional operations support. Support and prioritize advanced troubleshooting activities requested by Tier II staff, to include rapid installation and configuration of test systems to model customer environment. Maintain the infrastructure required for data extraction, ingest, transformation and loading of data from a variety of cyber security sensing platforms using Red Hat JBOSS FUSE, SQL, Splunk, Informatica, Pentaho, MarkLogic or other data integration platforms. Maintain the availability, integrity and confidentiality of data across physical and logical solution boundaries in a multi-agency environment. Responsible for integration operations deliverables and work products associated with the task order. Participate in regular reviews with Service Engineering and Service transition. Coordinate with Agency’s local engineering resources and OEMs for replacement or upgrade of software and hardware tools.
