     Be a trusted advisor of the CFO, driving strategic decisions thru analysis of data, financial discipline and understanding of the operations. In liaison with department leadership, build and implement strategic initiatives as well as promoting sharing/adopting best practices

·       Deliver results by tracking performance, driving forecast accuracy and finding inefficiencies in the SOP

·       Ability to perform special financial analysis as needed and /or requested by executive management

·       Assist department leads in analyzing statements, distributions, and other financial data

·       Strategic business planning for Martin UAV, including Long-Range-Planning (LRP), assessment of business planning scenarios based to drive growth & profitability

·       Skill in correcting deficiencies identified on Internal Audit report

·       Maintain effective cash control system with audits and reports for each period

·       Understanding of all pertinent leases, contracts, agreements, covenants, and restrictions

·       Maintain effective communication with bankers/lenders/investors by providing timely and accurate reports

·       Schedule and coordinate the preparation and presentation of the quarterly operating budget

·       Coordinate all aspects of the capital expenditures budget and complete ROI Analysis

·       Ensure budget is being met through periodic reviews with department leads


Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or relevant technical field

·       MBA or advanced degree from top tier academic institution preferred

·       At least 7 years of professional experience or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience in a well-disciplined organization where financial best practices are integral to the management of the business

·       Investment banking and/or management consulting experience a plus

·       Deep experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (or similar) with a thorough understanding of financial accounting and management reporting

·       Advanced level of Excel and Powerpoint required

·       Strong analytical and project management skills

·       Ability to communicate effectively with executive management to resolve issues and conflicts

·       Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output

·       Excellent interpersonal and people management skills

·       Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results

·       High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple stakeholders

·       Able to work effectively in a dual reporting matrix environment

·       Passion to solve problems, working at multiple altitudes, from strategic and high-level framing to detailed analysis

·       Strong strategic and critical thinking skills, ability to abstract and synthesize data & industry information

·       Leadership skills, proactively driving and delivering high-impact results through both individual and collaboration effort
